Over Thanksgiving break, we were sitting around when we saw a poster that said "Our coffee table has more RAM than your coffee table." We were inspired to build our very own cocoa table with a computer and a speaker system inside it.

Cocoa Table runs [www.debian.org/ Debian] Linux. It can talk via the [www.cstr.ed.ac.uk/projects/festival/ Festival] speech synthesis program. Its speech can be controlled by the "say" script both locally and remotely via ssh. Cocoa Table also plays music that can be controlled remotely throught Glirnath.
