The context is the area in the hall in front of a Slug's room. It is the the second cousin twice-removed of the Plenum. Many interesting artifacts can be found in the context of various people's rooms, such as CBA's, Cruft, and herds of slugs.

The origin of the term context is shrouded in mystery and myth. The legend of the context has been passed down for generations. Names have been changed to protect the innocent.

"What's that?"

"It's a part of a three-phase power distribution system. It would probably be mounted in a power substation."

"Well, it doesn't make much sense in the context of Michael's room."

Thus the context was born.
