Cat 5 cable is perhaps one of the most versatile modern materials. Its virtues stem from its combination of high tensile strength, high bandwidth, and, to a lesser extent, its color. Walker Chan and Karen Chu created a full-sized hammock entirely out of ethernet cable. Andrew Westerdale and Edwin Chen used ethernet cable for the axel and bearings of the Pikamobile.
