One of the best parts about thanksgiving is that EVERYONE helps out. It's a fun-filled weekend of cooking, baking, deep-frying and eating the tons of food we've prepared. Everyone should volunteer to cook something -- if you have no clue how to cook, sign up for something simple! There is always someone around who can help you out (aka make sure your food is edible) and teach you a thing or two. You can also ask whoever cooked the dish last year (check out [[Thanksgiving 2008]]) for tips.

Please volunteer to help cook something. Don't worry, you won't be alone. I'm hoping at least a few people can help with each thing to make everything go faster. I ([[Lizzie]]) will be in the kitchen all day Saturday to help with everything. If you would realllllly like to see something else on the menu, you can add it as long as it isn't too expensive and you know how to cook it.

Please volunteer to help cook something. Don't worry, you won't be alone. I'm hoping at least a few people can help with each thing to make everything go faster. I (Lizzie) will be in the kitchen all day Saturday to help with everything. If you would realllllly like to see something else on the menu, you can add it as long as it isn't too expensive and you know how to cook it.
