The origins of the word "junt" are obscured to time, however through usage on 4e the word was revived! In standard Slugfest tradition, the word was grabbed, used excessively, adopted it's own specific meanings, and later disappeared.

4E History

"Junt" was first introduced by Rob Crowell in the fall of 2004.

As a freshman, Rob used his junting powers for awesome and passed it's usage on to many fellow freshmen . . . I think there was something to do with a coffee mug too, but I could be wrong . . .

At any rate, the word grew in popularity for several years, until it gradually stopped being used sometime during the 2006-2007 academic year.
