The rack in Goodale Lounge
The server that runs slugwiki is located in the rack in Goodale Lounge next to the refrigerators and near the Athena stations. It is a Pentium III machine that sports Debian 3.1. So far it has been running very cool and relatively quiet, and does not disturb Slugs eating in the kitchen or watching the Barco in the lounge. In addition to hosting this wiki, the server also hosts the Slugfest Photo Gallery.
In the future, the server will also drive the Bemix music system and will eventually become the central hub for the 4E Network as well, assuming it doesn't overheat or have some sort of Tang-related accident first.
