The rack with the server inside

The server that runs slugwiki is located in the rack in Goodale Lounge next to the refrigerators and near the Athena stations. It is a Pentium III machine that is running Debian 3.1. It runs very cool and relitavely quiet, and does not disturb Slugs eating in the kitchen or watching the Barco in the lounge. In addition to hosting this wiki, the server also hosts a Slugfest Photo Gallery.

In the future, the server will also serve the Bemix music system and will eventually become the centeral hub for the 4E Network as well.
