One of the best parts about Thanksgiving is that EVERYONE helps out. It's a fun-filled weekend of cooking, baking, deep-frying and eating the tons of food we've prepared. Everyone should volunteer to cook something -- if you have no clue how to cook, sign up for something simple! There is always someone around who can help you out (aka make sure your food is edible) and teach you a thing or two. You can also ask whoever cooked the dish last year (check out Thanksgiving 2010) for tips.

If we don't have something you want on the list... add it! Cook it! We welcome everyone's food possibilities...

Plan to cook food for about 60 people. After you know what you are cooking, please email Simone with what you'll need in terms of ingredients and in terms of oven time & temperature (as soon as you can) for master plan compilation. If it's feasible for your dish to be cooked in a vegetarian-friendly way as well, please consider doing so! (splitting it and making half veggie friendly for the people that don't eat meat)

Baking Pies begins Friday night, as usual, to accommodate as much counter/oven space as possible for what is the awesomest part of the feast!

Turkeys will go in the fryer at around 1:30 pm Saturday -- it's quite a spectacle, so come watch!

Cooking in the kitchen begins early Saturday afternoon/late morning.

The feast starts as close to 6:00 PM as we can get it!

Once people have regained the ability to move, everyone will help clean up. Julia and Robj will be *supervising* the cleanup process and kicking all y'all in the butts to get moving!
